Anna Karenina

Hello Everyone!

Today I will me telling all about one of my favorite books ever! Anna Karenina. This book I came across after I watched the 1948 movie version with Vivien Leigh (My favorite actress ever) as Anna Karenina. I read the book and I loved the story because it was different and daring, at least it was for its time. The book tells the story of a young woman named Anna who is married to a very important man in Russia but she ends up meeting and falling in love with another man. They eventually get together, even though she’s married and after some time she just doesn’t care who knows about their relationship. Obviously a lot of things happen, she had a few ups and down in her life and relationships and I’m not going to tell you more about it just in case you guys haven’t read the book or watched the movie (any version will do) because I don’t want to spoil the story for you guys… but I really do recommend you guys do one of these two: read the book or watch the movie, because it’s truly an amazing story. I get so excited to just talk about this book, that’s how much I love it! But seriously, I know I already said it, but go read the book or watch the movie; you guys won’t regreat it.

Now, let me know what books do you like. Thanks for reading! Dont forget to follow me on social media.

Opposition (Lux #5) By Jennifer L. Armentrout

Hello Everyone!

Opposition picks up about two days later from where the Origin ended. Something that ILOVED from this book was in Katy and Daemon’s POV (Point of view), so we get to see what’s going on inside of both of their minds. This book is full of action and also full of unexpected turns, but that is something you should be used to by now since Jennifer L. Armentrout is no stranger to unexpected twists in this story and they are also really interesting so they are always welcome as long as everything is okay in the end.

Every since I read the first book, I fell in love with the series and the characters and it was kinda sad that this was the last book, but I really liked it. I personally think that Jennifer l. Armentroutdid an amazing job with the Epilogue, though I would really like it if there was another book about Katy and Daemon in the future, maybe married with kids, wouldnt that be lovely?  … but who knows? it may happen someday  (hopefully).

Origin (Lux #4) By Jennifer L. Armentrout

Hello Everyone!

Origin is the fourth in the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout and I can tell you that after the cliffhanger in which Opal ended I was literally counting the days until this book came out and once it did (on Aug. 27, 2013) I was a really really happy person .

Something that I LOVED! from this book is that it was on Daemon and Katy‘s P.O.V. and thanks to that we got to see more of Daemon and his lovely personality… and as if we didn’t expect it, this book also ends with a cliffhanger which had me counting (again…) for the day when the fifth and final book from the Lux series, Opposition, came out on Aug. 5, 2014… but Opposition will get a review of its own very soon. I promise.

Now in Origin we get to meet new exciting characters such as Archer whom I come to love, almost as much as I love Daemon… though I doubt there is anyone like Daemon (At least not in this series) or anyone who can surpass my love for him. [Sighs] Daemon is just so wonderful but anyways this book is just so exciting and things will continue to get even better (Trust me, I know) and by the end of the book you WILL NOT be able to wait until you read the next book… basically what I’m saying is that this book also ends in a cliffhanger, something I’m beginning to think is something Jennifer L. Armentrout loves to do and I don’t blame her, these cliffhangers are just so great even when they leave me in such an awful state of mind.

Spider-Man Homecoming

Hello Everyone!

So this exciting, last night we got the first trailer for Spider-Man Homecoming, and it was amazing! We got to see Tom Holland as both Peter Parker and Spider-Man and he is just perfect for the role. I really do think we will become my favorite Spider-Man after I watch this movie. In this trailer we also got a look at Tony Stark and that just got me even more excited for the movie. The Vulture also made an appearance towards the end of the trailer and Michael Keaton is great! I’m really really exited for this movie and I really can’t wait for t to be here!

Anyways, have you guys watched the trailer? If so let me know your thoughts on it and if you haven’t, then I really recommend that you watch it.

Opal (Lux #3) By Jennifer L. Armentrout

Hello Everyone!

The third part of the Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout will certainly leave you hanging, until you read the fourth book, just as the others do. In this book you’ll get to see some happy moments and other that will make you feel sad… but at the end they all are leading to a very big event in the book. Also there are some adorable and sweet moments between Daemon andKaty who finally got together… and that was something many (many) people wanted… me included. I wanted them together since the first book started, and this is one of the reasons I like this series so much; since they didn’t start (or jumped) into a relationship so fast… it took sometime for them to finally admit that they like each other and finally be a couple and once they do a lot of things change; not only between them but around them.

In this book Katy and Daemon FINALLY become an official couple only to be separated by the end of the book which broke my heart in a million pieces the first time I read the book and now every time I re-read the book… it makes me tear up a little bit. Just a little bit… But I am an eternal optimist. But this book leaves you in such a cliffhanger and it’s a really big one that you be able to keep your hands of the next book.
